There
is a
great need for people willing to pitch in to help with the
following
areas:
- Identification
of a dog in your local shelter. Is that really a Malamute? If
you can drive down to your local shelter to visually inspect
a reported Malamute, then you can make a difference.
- Home
visits to interview potential adopters. Do you know what
it takes to make a good Malamute owner? If you can visit the
homes of people applying to adopt a Malamute, then you can make
a huge difference in finding happy homes for Malamutes in need.
- Foster
Home provider for needy Malamutes seeking their permanent
homes. Do you know your Malamutes? Have you got room in your
heart and home to provide a safe haven for a Malamute down on
his or her luck? You can make all the difference in the world
to a Malamute that needs a place to stay until adopted.
- Phone
Interviews of adoption applicants. Can you talk with potential
adopters and help them decide if a Malamute is the right breed
for them? You can make an important difference in helping to
match Malamutes with appropriate homes.
- Transportation
assistance. When it's necessary to get a Malamute from point
A to point B, you can make a difference by giving a Mal a ride
along part of their journey.
You'll learn
alot, have fun and derive personal satisfaction from helping to
make a positive difference in this world. You don't have to know
at first how to do everything, we'll provide plenty of guidance
and assistance. For more
